Pepper Pot Soup at Seeds Community Cafe - 1/30/2014

Hello, everyone.  Today, as part of my lunch, I had the pepper pot stone soup from Seeds Community Cafe in Colorado Springs, CO.  Here is a picture of it.

This soup had Ranch Foods Direct chicken & beef as well as peppers, onions, potatoes and spatzle dumplings.  I took my time having this with my meal.  It's available from time to time.  Contact Seeds Community Cafe to see if it's on the menu the day you come and visit.

One Week Until Super Bowl - 1/26/2014

Salads At Seeds Community Cafe - 1/25/2014

Hello again.  Today, I would like to feature the salads at Seeds Community Cafe in Colorado Springs, CO.  Every day, they have two salads that are available. One is the Seeds Famous Kale Caesar Salad.  Here is a picture of it.

This kale salad has a vegan caesar dressing and Gluten Free Croutons. It is a popular salad.

Here is a picture of the Field Greens Salad.

This salad has cucumbers, feta cheese, black olives, tomatoes, chopped egg with a homemade lemon oregano vinaigrette dressing.  This salad can be prepared vegan as well. This salad is also Gluten Free.

Roast Pork Medallions at Seeds Community Cafe - 1/22/2014

Hello again.  Yesterday, I had roast pork medallions at Seeds Community Cafe in Colorado Springs, CO.  It came with mashed potatoes and turnip greens with bacon and onions.  It was pretty good.  I only wished that they had butter to go along with it.  Here's a picture of my plate before I ate.

I had the loaded potato soup with it as a side.  I hope you come by and try it if it's on the menu that day.

Chicken Carbonara At Seeds Community Cafe - 1/18/2014

Hello again.  Yesterday, I had the chicken carbonara from Seeds Community Cafe in Colorado Springs, CO.  I had it with the chicken tortilla soup.  Here is a picture of it.

The pasta was gluten free.  It was crowded yesterday because a class of catholic school students had lunch there.  It was a group of 30.  I did have seconds.

J And J's Savory Roast Pork Tomatillo - 1/16/2014

Hello again.  For lunch today, I had the J and J's Savory Roast Pork Tomatillo dish from Seeds Community Cafe in Colorado Springs, CO.  It consisted of Ranch Foods Direct Pork in a tomatillo sauce on a bed of mashed potatoes.  It is Gluten Free.  I had that with today's stone soup of Seeds' RFD Beef & Bean Chili that was served with sour cream and a cheese blend on top.  I had coffee and a prickly pear lemonade to drink.  Here is a picture of my lunch.

ABC Burger From Seeds Community Cafe - 1/9/2014

Hi there. Here's a picture of the ABC burger that I had at Seeds Community Cafe in Colorado Springs on Tuesday, Jan. 7, 2014.

It's a avocado blue cheese burger with blue cheese in the burger and on top.

Sun Cups By Seth Ellis Chocolatier - 1/6/2014

Happy New Year, Everyone!  It is 2014.  Today, I went to my local Whole Foods Market in Colorado Springs, CO.  I had lunch there and for dessert, I had a pack of Sun Cups by Seth Ellis Chocolatier. The pack cost $1.79.  It is nut and gluten free. I had the dark chocolate Sun Cups.  It had a light flavor and not overly sweet.  Here's a pic of the package.
